Danyelle Elkind - Financial Specialist
Danyelle Elkind has worked at the Center for about three years. She is currently in school for a Master's of Accountancy.
Michael Kruse - Webmaster
Michael Kruse is currently finishing his MA thesis in the department
of Languages and Cultures of Asia and plans to graduate
in the fall of 2009. He has worked at the Center since
fall of 2008, maintaining web sites for the Center for
South Asia, the Annual
South Asia Conference, the India
Initiative, the American
Institute of Pakistan Studies, the American
Institute of Bangladesh Studies, and the South
Asia Summer Language Institute. Mike spent about nine months in
India in 2008 with his wife, Amanda. They welcomed their
first child, Gabriel, into the world on September 24, 2009.
Neha Mohan - Program Assistant
Neha Mohan is a 4th year undergraduate student double majoring in
Religious Studies and International Studies. She moved from New Delhi,
India to Wisconsin six years ago and really enjoys working at the Center
for South Asia.
Matthew Sebranek - Outreach Assistant
Matt Sebranek has been with the Center for South Asia since the spring of 2008.
He currently assists in various aspects of outreach and other tasks
including Title VI reporting, publications and media, website, and
FLAS fellowship applications. He also plays a key role in organizing
the Annual Conference on South Asia. Matt received a B.S. in chemistry
from UW-Madison in 2009 and is currently applying to graduate/medical
school with a firm interest in the study of global health. He has acquired
a strong interest in South Asia from working at the center and hopes
to travel there soon whether it be for study or pleasure. Besides traveling,
in his free time he also enjoys golfing, fishing, and relaxing at the
union terrace.
